Aveda Institute

Aveda Institute is a beauty school which trains students in cosmetology and massage, owned by Aveda. The Institute, which has over 50 schools throughout the United States and internationally, trains students to work in Aveda salons.

History

The institute began in 1986, following the 1977 founding of the Aveda company, with about 200 students in a 9-month training program. The school was later expanded, transforming a newly renovated five-story building, complete with stages and auditoriums, into a beauty/fashion/wellness institute.

Events

Aveda Congress is Aveda’s biggest event celebrating the art and craft of hairdressing. The event brings guests and Aveda stylists from countries around the world to participate in educational and inspirational presentations .
